At our April meeting local watercolor artist Phil Schmidt demonstrated how to paint the sky; during his demonstration he was quite candid and informative with our members and quests.

He shared his artistic journey starting with being a “hobby” painter to becoming a professional painter. His catalyst? Conversations he had with displaying artists of the Plaza Art Fair a scant four years ago!
